1934 Foundation of CL Bencard a specialist allergy company in Devon, England.
1949 Beecham Group Ltd aquire CL Bencard, a company specialising in allergy vaccines. It is a step forward towards ethical pharmaceutical products for the Beecham company.
1957 Bencard Allergy moves from Brockham Park to Great West Road, London and opens the "Bencard Allergy Clinic".
1959 Bencard aquire Wright Fleming Institute, a small vaccine manufacturing business. Introduction of Influvac.
1966 Launch of Alavac (Aluminium hydroxide based desensitising vaccine) in the UK market.
1972 Launch of Pollinex vaccine in the UK containing grass pollen allergens.
1974 Launch of Pollinex vaccine containing grass pollens in Germany.
1975 Launch of Pollinex R (Ragweed) for the Canadian market.
1984 Launch of Pollinex containing Tree allergens in Germany and General Export markets.
1985 Launch of Mugwort, Plantain, Parietaria and Olive in Pollinex for the Southern European markets.
1988 Launch of Tyrosine S in Germany
1994 Launch of Oralvac, a sublingual allergy desensitising vaccine in Germany.
1996 Ribi Immunochem Research Ltd (Now Corixa) sign agreement with SKB for the use of the novel adjuvant MPL in the development of allergy vaccines.
1998 MBI aquires Bencard business from SB to form Allergy Therapeutics Ltd.
1999 Launch of Pollinex Quattro in Germany.
1999 AT sets up new markets in Italy, Spain, Czech & Slovak Republics and Poland.
2002 AT granted patent in USA for MPL/Tyrosine/Antigen.
2002 AT sign license deal with PLIVA, the largest pharmaceutical company in Central & Eastern Europe.
2002 AT appoints new Board of Directors.
2002 Financial restructuring at AT.
2002 AT and Novartis enter into an agreement to cooperate in the commercialisation of Novartis ophthalmology product Zaditen Optha.
2003 Launch of Oralvac Plus.
