Summary: An opportunity exists to join our Engineering Department. This is a permanent position operating a 37.5 hrs week Monday – Friday.

The successful candidate must have a ‘hands on’ approach to this role and must have broad based electrical skills.

The successful candidate will be required, but not limited, to carry out:-

• Electrical fault finding and problem solving
• Electrical installation, single and 3 phase
• Data and communication installation
• General electrical maintenance
• Control and carry out Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)

Candidates must have had formal training with City & Guilds electrical installations Parts 1 and 2, or equivalent NVQ certification, Portable Appliance Testing qualification and 17th Edition IEE regulations. Electrical testing and inspection would be an advantage.

Knowledge of GMP and experience of working in the pharmaceutical industry would be a distinct advantage.
